Sambuccus nigra

Elderflower is an expectorant herb which means that it can be used to treat respiratory infections, colds, flus and seasonal allergies. It has a mild laxative effect.  It has a sweet and musky natural flavour, It can also help reduce fevers and inflammation

As an immune stimulator, elderflower tea can provide soothing relief for acute cold systems.   The blend of elderflower, yarrow and mint is a great blend to fight fevers and was used historically for measles and chickenpox.

Make an infused oil and massage in to your joints to reduce pain and swelling in acute joint inflammation.

Elderflower is also a natural antihistamine, so drinking this tea when you have hayfever can ease the symptoms.

It provides nervous system support.  It is said that it has the capacity to heal deep grief, and in turn helps one to open their eyes to the magic of the world.
