Includes: Throat Chakra Oil, Throat Chakra Card, Downloadable Meditation: Throat Chakra Activation by Heart Radiance
"I am your Throat Chakra, I explore self-expression through communication – the power of speaking your truth. When I am balanced you are able to listen to others, speak your truth authentically and honestly, and are able to hear your inner guidance clearly. You understand others deeply. I restore your energy by purifying the mind and body. When I am out of balance so is your communication. You stop listening to yourself and to others. Those around you are unable to understand you and you may feel alienated. Feelings of being misunderstood, negative or aggressiveness in your words or actions, being hesitant to express yourself or unable to find the rights words to say how you feel, may also be present. Physical symptoms to do with your throat, jaw, mouth, tongue and gums, such as coughing, vocal chord problems, fluctuations in your thyroid hormones, or feelings of suffocation or even a lump in the throat may present. I can support in bringing these back to balance. I am located at the base of your throat, neck and along your collar bone"
Ingredients: Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Tocopherol, Essential Oils of Organic Cypress, Petitgrain and Roman Chamomile.
The Sanskrit word for the Throat Chakra is Vishuddha. Vishuddha means pure or purification. The element of Ether represents this chakra. Ether teaches us about the space and freedom to express and expand our emotions and to not always fill that space - to listen, to filter what goes in and comes out - the possibility of expanding our perspective. It is associated with the colour blue and restores energy by purifying the mind and body.
This chakra symbolises the energy to seek and speak truth and when in balance we are able to hear our inner guidance clearly. We are able to understand others deeply and we are able to express ourselves authentically.
One way to heal our Throat Chakra is to see where and why we hold back revealing what we are feeling / thinking. Its very beneficial to reflect back on those times where we have thought there was no point in trying to express our feelings, when we were ridiculed for what we said, or when something we said was received negatively. What we express to others is not always going to be received as we expect, taking the time to make sure what we are saying is understood helps us to be heard properly. If we are feeling confused, writing about this first can allow the confusion to be released, so that when we voice it, it becomes clearer and more unified.
The Leafy and Floral essential oils of Petitgrain, Cypress and Roman Chamomile have been selected to support in balancing this chakra.
A combination of practices helps to unblock / balance the chakra. Meditating is one way that I know personally is very effective. I apply the chakra oil on my neck before I begin. I have attached a meditation that you can download which accompanies the oil to balance and unblock this chakra.
Alternatively, the oil can be used in conjunction with a mantra. There are many mantras that you can use and I have reproduced some on the card that goes with this oil. It fits easily into the back of a wallet. When I'm working on a chakra, I take the card with me and quietly recite some of them in my mind when I have some time. Repeating these throughout the day and week creates new thought patterns.
Sound and vibrations play an essential role in healing the chakras. The mantra or Bija Seed Mantra associated with the Vishuddha Chakra is "HAM". Chanting this mantra activates the ether element within so that our voice becomes more empowered, enabling us to communicate our thoughts and desires more effectively.
Vishuddha Chakra is associated with Ether. Spend some time each day just connecting into the space around, sense it, see it, feel it. Allow yourself space. Clear out a cupboard or a drawer, removing what you no longer need. How does it feel to have more space around you? Artistic expressions and singing can also release the Throat Chakra. On the other hand, even partaking in a silent retreat where you are able to listen to your self without all the outward noise can also release unnecessary energy.
