Portal into the Third Eye Chakra

Portal into the Third Eye Chakra

September 2024

I select a card, it’s The Raven, The messenger, the one who holds wisdom and knowledge.  Release the old, a time of renewal. -   I close my eyes.  I see a beach, I know which one –the journey through the portal begins.

I am your soul, let me take you on a journey to the world that lies within you, the journey although not an easy one will bring you far greater rewards than you can ever imagine.

I am the one who illuminates the path in the darkness that leads the way back to the light.

I am your guidance, I contains all senses and some sentiences.  I will seek the patterns of the universe, I will integrate them so that they expand beyond what you already know.

I begin to walk. Signs and symbols, following my intuition.  Silent messages from the Universe, I don’t understand them yet.

I search for meaning, for patterns, allowing it to unfold, I let go, I release the need to know.

A piece of wood, it’s a fish.  I remember The Salmon, The Wisdom Keeper in Celtic Mythology.  The salmon often guarded the sacred wells and springs, the gateway between the physical and spiritual realms.

I scan the shoreline, I see small mountains of light grey pumice stones, washed up from the big surf of the last couple of days.  I collect handfuls and put in my pocket. A dark round seed pod, a stick, red and white stones.  A picture emerges.

I perceive subtle dimensions and movements of energy

The tide is in, so my walk ends here but I climb to ledge where I have an expansive view. A picture reveals itself to me on the rock from the water that has seeped down through the grass, from the cliffs above - a face or is it two or three.

I place what I’ve gathered in front of me, including a pinecone that my daughter gifted me. As I create my offering a symbol begins to emerge, it looks a bit like the Eye of Horus. Horus was the God of the sky, his right eye considered to represent the sun and his left – the moon.

The pine cone on the stem looks like the staff of the Greek nature god, Dionysus, and was also carried by the Maenads, his female priestesses.

I am your perspective, let me expand your view, so you may see through your illusions.

I look East into the sky, the moon white against the brilliant blue, almost full, is beginning to rise.  To the west the Sun will soon set.

Ark Ark, Ark, The Ravens call, black as the night, they appear below me pecking at something from the seaweed.

I transcend duality

The Egyptian God, Horus was the result of the union between Osiris and Isis – the divine father and mother energies of their Universe.   In earlier times, this symbol had been associated with Wadjet, an Egyptian Goddess.  Wadj meaning green, she was known as the Green One.

I like this meaning the Green One.  I sit the fish on top of her eye, in the place where the eyebrow would go - in this symbol it means place of thought.  I think of the staff of Dionysus, the Nature God, connecting here with this eye of the goddess, the Green one.  Calling me deeper.

I am the seed of Christ Consciousness waiting in the darkness, ready to grow within you and around you.

The pupil represents sight, I place the circular seed there.  The circle, a place of infinite space and expansiveness.  Representing the cycles of life.   No end and no beginning.  Everything is contained within, all connected, all a part of the one.

I see a patterns emerging – this place of Union, this place of love.

I am the eye of God inside your mind.

I begin my walk back.  I almost step on top of what looks like the Ichthys (ickthys) made from some sort of reed or root, the symbol of Yeshua, used by his followers to secretly identify themselves to each other, at a time when they were being persecuted for their beliefs.   The prophet who had the audacity to preach that Christ Consciousness was contained within.  The symbol - the combination of two intersecting arcs, creating the union –  in the shape of a fish.

A rock attracts my eye.  With the softest hues of grey, it looks like a landscape painting contained within.  One side two beautiful mountains which continue onto the other side.  As I stand here holding this rock it looks like the landscape right in front of me.  What is contained within this rock is reflecting what is outside of me.

What is contained within you is reflected outside of you.  I allow self-reflection. Reflections are all around you, the signs and symbols are there for you to read, the patterns, created so you can identify, and integrate.

When I judge you I judge myself.  When I reject a part of you, I reject a part of me.  When I accept you, I accept myself.  When I see softness in you, I recognise it in me.  When I see you as love, I see I am love.   There is such futility in warring with parts of ourselves (or others).  By fighting ourselves peace can never arrive.  We can only move forward when we love and accept those parts of us that we find unacceptable or that we fear or hide from.  It is in the union of these two warring parts that we witness true love and understanding.

I am the Third Eye.  I am the divine union of the masculine and the feminine.  I sit in that place of Unity and Love. The God within.  Where right meets left, the inner meets outer, where day meets night, where those warring parts meet.  It is here you can sit in that union with all.

Soon the sun will set and we will meet with the death of this day.  And in the morning a new day will be born, the rebirth of the sun, a renewal, a new way to see the day.
